Twin Vew Condominium Launch

Fortis Law’s Founder & CEO, Mr Patrick, recently spoke at Twin Vew’s Preview Launch on the Sale & Purchase Agreement for uncompleted properties/properties under construction. Patrick was the special guest speaker at the launch and he spoke on the various types of contracts available, namely Option to Purchase (OTP) and Sale & Purchase Agreement (SPA). He shared with the potential buyers on the difference between OTP and SPA, and the important terms in the contracts to take note of.

National Library Talk @ Northpoint

In collaboration with the National Library Board, Fortis Law held a talk at the Yishun National Library in Northpoint. The focus was to educate people on the importance of preparing their Will, to prevent family conflicts. We had a great turnout and our listeners learnt what assets you can give under a Will, why appointing an executor and guardian is important, and what happens if you do not have a Will, among others.

Rivercove Residences Executive Condominium Launch

Rivercove Residences was the most anticipated new launch as it will be the only new Executive Condominium launch in 2018. Since it’s preview launch on 1 Apr 2018, it has attracted an oversubscription rate of 2.5 times for the project’s 628 units. For this new launch, Fortis Law introduced a special rate (conveyancing legal fees) exclusively for Rivercove Residences buyers. Falcon Energy Group Limited

Fortis Law is acting for Falcon Energy Group Limited (the “Company”), a company listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, in preparing the letter to shareholders to obtain shareholders’ approval for the disposal of 21.83% of the shareholding in CH Offshore Ltd, which was held by the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Energian Pte. Ltd., at a sale price of approximately S$20 million, to SZ Offshore Investment Pte. Ltd (the “Disposal”).


As the Disposal is classified as a major transaction pursuant to Chapter 10 of the Listing Manual, shareholders’ approval was required. This transaction is led by Vanessa Ng and Eunice Yao.

Singapore Estate Agents Association

Fortis Law is acting for the Singapore Estate Agents Association (the “Association”) in its agreement with a third-party software firm for the purposes of carrying out the specification and development of a software system as well as the provision of hardware in relation to the Association’s aim to digitise and transform the real estate industry.


The Association, together with support from the Council for Estate Agencies and the major real estate agencies, aims to represent and further the interests of real estate agencies and real estate agents in Singapore. This transaction is led by Patrick Tan and Eunice Yao.
