After Mr. Soh Chun Bin obtained his LL.B. (Hons) at National University of Singapore, he began his career as a corporate lawyer and was one of the pioneering lawyers at Stamford Law (now Morgan Lewis Stamford) during its inception in the early 2000s, rising quickly to become a partner in 2005 and subsequently an equity partner in 2008. He left legal practice in May 2012, thereafter spending several years to head up various companies (including listed companies) as the chief executive.
Mr, Soh Chun Bin has advised issuers and underwriters on many Singapore and international initial public offerings of corporations and real estate investment trusts, including secondary equity and debt fund raising by such entities. He has also advised on voluntary general offers and delistings. In addition, he has also advised startups and private equity funds on investments, particularly in the technology sector. He has a wealth of experience and expertise in cross-border transactions and has a broad network spanning countries such as China, Indonesia and Malaysia. He brings to bear a unique blend of experience and expertise from both the legal and business perspective.
He has been recognised on multiple occasions as a leading lawyer by legal publications such as Chambers and Partners and AsiaLaw, and also sits on the boards of listed companies. Mr. Soh Chun Bin was also a contributor for “Mergers and Acquisitions in China”, a book published by Sweet & Maxwell Asia, 2007.
